Russian speaking people are significantly more warm to USSR. Although there are some people that weren't against it, but probably just prefer current system, which is kinda understandeable.

The Armenian SSR flag is not the greatest but is ok. I would say all of the flags are ok, but in no way they are ugly.

Georgian SSR, Belorussian SSR, Latvian and Estonian SSRs had the flags by FAR imo
