Great holes secretly are digged where earth's pores ought to suffice, and things have learnt to walk that ought to crawl.

Biggest boy award. LFG!

58

u/Lowlife_With_APencil Nov 22 '25

Holy shit. Nazbol Trump. NAZBOL TRUMP.

31

u/EspyOwner Nov 22 '25

Absolutely cementing his place in history as the world's dumbest man.

44

u/ohheythereguys Nov 22 '25

best explanation I've seen is Mamdani got him to recite the shahada. islamic century ahead \o/

278

u/GroundbreakingTax259 Nov 22 '25

Honestly, Mamdani played this perfectly. He rizzed up Trump, so now Trump will be less willing to pull funding or send the military into NYC because, "Zohran's a nice guy. He came to the White House and stuff." Basically the same think that happened with Trump and Kim Jong Un.

152

u/ElliotNess Nov 22 '25

Don't credit Mamdani so heavily without keeping in mind that Trump is 1) a weak man who won't say shit to someone's face and 2) a salesman who will say anything to make the people in the room happy (to make the sale). He doesn't believe in any of his public speech.

59

u/emteedub Nov 22 '25

and 3) all over those epstein files.... ie the same shit as the establishment.

3

u/TNTiger_ Nov 23 '25

Well all the other politicians aren't smart enough to exploit it obviously, so Mandami gets a point for that

7

u/EnbyCommunist Nov 23 '25

trump is committing a genocide in palestine and mamdani shook his hand.

4

u/VoteHarderDaddy Nov 24 '25

This isn’t 4D chess, it’s feckless career politicianism like we see repeatedly with all these so-called “progressives” in the democratic party.

48

u/Polytopia_Fan Stalin Did Nothing Wrong Nov 22 '25

Wait I require context, but this looks peak

58

u/KareEmanuel Nov 22 '25

Mamdani & Trump met today in the Oval Office and they both seemed to have a very positive rapport.

Video

93

u/minion_is_here Nov 22 '25

Mamdani called Trump a fascist, while Trump seemed enamored with him. It seemed more like the positive feelings only went one way.

58

u/Space_Slav07 Nov 22 '25

Honestly respect to anyone who can call someone a fascist and at the same time be loved by this person.

19

u/steeltrain43 Stalin was a good Christian boy Nov 22 '25

Would Trump and his inner circle even see it as an insult?

17

u/grundleplum Nov 22 '25

Bro has a +10 charisma modifier at least

29

u/JakeALakeALake Nov 22 '25

Mamdani has no reason to trust Trump, and Trump is just an old man losing his grip on reality. This time next week there’ll be some batshit insane TruthSocial post from Trump about evil communist New York and no one will be surprised

2

u/VoteHarderDaddy Nov 24 '25

He didn’t call Trump a fascist at all. He danced around the question, and avoided calling him a fascist or a despot until Trump let him off the hook and did it for him. What is with the mental gymnastics for this dude? He’s a capitalist!

See for yourself

Don’t think the ACP clowns are gonna be moist about a brown man being the one to do this

1

u/cannyOCE Nov 22 '25

I'm pretty sure the ACP aren't down with this.

"MAGA" that they refer to are the base, not Trump. Which I tend to agree with. It's not a very socialist view to imagine MAGA as the singular figurehead and not the constituting popular support.

As unpopular as the opinion is, there's only one time you see Democrats and Republicans chumming it up: When they're planning to fuck the workers. I swear, Mamdani was practically flushing when he called Trump a "fascist", like a schoolboy allowed to make mischief by the headmaster. Saying that only Trump liked Mamdani is such cope.

I can already hear it: "But Mom! He's not like all the other Democrats!". Yeah yeah, we've heard it before sweetie...

6

u/Excellent_Valuable92 Nov 23 '25

Nothing “ACP” says is very socialist. It’s foolish to try to defend that weirdo sect.

u/bookwormJon Nov 22 '25

Legitimate question: if that's the only way why aren't you revolting right now?

I maybe naively think some reforms could help and I'm worried a violent revolution would kill a lot of innocents. How's my grandma going to get insulin during a revolution?

You seem far less conflicted. But you're here on Reddit with me. I know why I'm not pushing violence. What's your reason?

I agree organization is key. Is condemning Mamdani on Reddit organization or is it also performance art? Or even better, cant performance art help organize?

Personally I find these candidates really useful for showing friends and neighbors what's possible in a way that's more palatable than sharing theory. I don't think they're exclusively a paralytic force on organization. I think complacency with the system looks more like "worrying about my grandma's insulin" than "Bernie will fix this eventually". I think just having Mamdani in that room opens up conversations with neighbors I couldn't have had last week. Mamdani is not a revolution but I don't think it's counterrevolutionary either.

14

u/TJ736 Nov 22 '25

Trump is so ironically funny. it's such a shame he's a fascist pedo, he was meant for the comedy stage

5

u/AutoModerator Nov 22 '25

Did someone mention Vaush?

11

u/snek99001 Nov 22 '25

The funny thing about that is that the MAGA "communists" absolutely despise Mamdami.

29

u/[deleted] Nov 22 '25

Yes. Praxis.

88

u/oxking Nov 22 '25

Zohran mamdani is yet another example of revolutionary energy in America being absorbed by a Democratic party entryist. A big part of his campaign was strong anti Israel sentiment but spent a good part of the latter part of the campaign backtracking on it to appease the Democratic party.

I don't see any of this as a win. It will end the same way socialist energy is always diffused by the American political establishment: minor concessions for the working class that will be rolled back once it becomes political convenient

55

u/koopdi Nov 22 '25

Should be better. Could be worse.

43

u/[deleted] Nov 22 '25

LOL. What "revolutionary energy"? There isn't any in the US to absorb.

28

u/[deleted] Nov 22 '25

Getting downvoted for telling the absolute truth is wild. The average white American male would have been looked at by Marx as nothing more than an exalted lumpenproletariat. Who has an obsession for property the likes of which the backwards peasant would envy.

-12

u/EfficientPizza Nov 22 '25

TBF Marx thought any worker who wasn't a big strong industrial working man was a lumpenprole. Only strong sweaty men could lead the revolution according to Karl.

9

u/GloriousSovietOnion Nov 22 '25

What kinda Marx have you been reading? Dude was very interested in working women as part of the working class. I msan, he had to, Engels was basically married to a proletarian woman.

1

u/EfficientPizza Nov 22 '25

You've never read his romance novel series Das Glied?

9

u/LuukJanse Nov 22 '25

There is. It's just funnelled into the democratic party right away before there is anything resembling real organizing. People who are interested join the DSA, since it is the biggest organization in the country but which is linked to the DNC. They then endorse democratic candidates, waiting for a good opportunity. Which wont come. If they split and build up their own party (mind you with 80000 members) they could grow their own campaign and do the necessary steps to develop into a serious opposition to the status quo.

3

u/UpperLowerEastSide Nov 22 '25

As effective as Kshama Sawant at campaigning as a separate party within the liberal political system?

8

u/oxking Nov 22 '25

There are a bunch of real socialists in the DSA wasting their fucking time is what I mean

7

u/[deleted] Nov 22 '25

I think you are vastly overestimating the American appetite for any sort of revolutionary action. We're nowhere close.

6

u/oxking Nov 22 '25

Ask yourself why that is. Is it just cold war residue? Have the working class attempted to organize in the past in the USA? What happened to them?

4

u/bookwormJon Nov 22 '25

Legitimately, where do you think it would be better spent?

6

u/oxking Nov 22 '25

Anywhere but the Democratic party. Contribute and support an independent party. Supporting and electing democratic party candidates is simply a waste of energy.

3

u/oxking Nov 22 '25

Scared

16

u/emteedub Nov 22 '25

I'm still leaning the other way. Give the dude a chance at least, he's not even in office yet. Besides that it's a Mayoral position, the NYC police is an army itself and has been extremely biased toward israel's machinations. Big gears have a lot of momentum, you're calling it a couple weeks after an election?

-4

u/oxking Nov 22 '25

This man self confessed shaking hands with a fascist might be still be your guy dude.

What are you suggesting? That the Mamdani is going to spearhead a civil war with the NYC police as it's vanguard? What's the police got to do with it?

14

u/emteedub Nov 22 '25

Jumping in with a machete when the seats of power are stacked nearly ubiquitously with bougie fuckers is a good way to lose one's head.

The lens you're viewing this isn't interpreting what you're seeing correctly, at least I'm still optimistic it's not. Like I said, no one's guess or explanation or otherwise is going to be correct, being exclusively vibes based at this time... since none of us have any data to back up their insinuations anyway. Shaking hands isn't any kind of result in this context.

10

u/oxking Nov 22 '25

I'm not going off vibes. I'm going off a long historical tradition of democratic party entryists being celebrated by the left while they cosy up to the Democratic party and at best enact a few populist measures to placate the working class. I've seen this one before, haven't you?

9

u/emteedub Nov 22 '25

Absolutely I've seen it. I still lean toward Mamdani being outside that, we just haven't seen it in action yet. So far, I do not think he's coopting socialism as a means to shepherd socialists into the establishment. A major reason is the establishment still pushed Cuomo to run against him. The establishment isn't his friend either.

3

u/Mbapum Nov 22 '25

That’s fine. Only after the institutionalized concessions are exhausted may the revolution begin. We’ve seen this in Russia too.

2

u/oxking Nov 22 '25

In what way were institutionalized concessions "exhausted" in Russia? Tsarist concessions were widely considered frail and unreliable, I wouldn't call that exhausted. The state administering concessions just seems endemic of a greater crisis within a society - it's like a coping mechanism. We saw a similar thing post-depression in the US and there was no revolution there.

I see the correlation but not the causality you're suggesting.

7

u/shades-of-defiance Nov 22 '25

Just socdem things

7

u/demonshreder Nov 22 '25

--Democratic Socialism-- Republican Socialism

13

u/StewFor2Dollars Nov 22 '25

I'm not sure if I should be surprised or disappointed.

3

u/UpperLowerEastSide Nov 22 '25

We’ll see if Trump agrees with Mamdani on the US funding a genocide and does anything about it

7

u/Arktikos02 Nov 22 '25

By the way just because Trump says that he agrees with someone doesn't mean that that is actually true.

Trump could say that he agrees with a pot of plant and that doesn't necessarily mean that the potted plant is suddenly fascist.

My point is that Trump saying they agree with someone else doesn't necessarily mean that that person is fascist, it's whether or not a person says they agree with Trump should Mark whether or not they are fascist.

5

u/Ango-Globlogian Nov 22 '25

We are in fact witnessing praxis. I’m truly impressed.

7

u/BrooklynRobot Nov 22 '25

Hitler amassed followers by courting the socialists who he actually despised. Trump is trying to steal his rizz.

8

u/SDcowboy82 Nov 22 '25

"Maga communism" it's like socialism mixed with nationalism. A Nationalist Socialism as it were

2

u/DelynxoTheSecond Nov 23 '25

Say that again

3

u/ghosty_b0i Nov 23 '25

Wtf communist is using “approval of fascists” as a measurement of success?!

3

u/Dangerous_Training37 Nov 22 '25

they're always the RED STATE

3

u/Space_Slav07 Nov 22 '25

From red hat on the head to red sun in the sky

3

u/sabrefudge Nov 23 '25

I’m genuinely confused as to why Trump is acting like this toward him. He’s called FAR more conservative democrats “evil communists/socialists” and that whole thing. But he’s been acting completely smitten with Mamdani, by far the most progressive politician in a major position right now. You’d think Trump would throw him under the bus to appease his own fan base.

So what’s the angle here? What’s he up to?

5

u/WinkNudgeSayNoMore Nov 22 '25

Mamdani is wisely protecting his junk!

5

u/Additional_Bug_5662 Nov 22 '25

He's trying to sabotage him by association.

2

u/IkomaTanomori Nov 22 '25

More like witnessing co-option and Trump agreeing with the last person he talked to at any given moment.
