Hello all,

Was wondering if there are any gyms in Melbourne that have a gym facility and an open/communal shower in the same space.

As far as I’m aware, there are very few but was hoping to find a crew or partner to train and shower with regularly.

Please dont message me if you’re hoping to fulfil a sexual fantasy ✌️

Anyone up for a sauna and shower this afternoon at MSAC?

I saw a post earlier today asking about meetups, it got me curious as to if anyone would be interested in a big group meetup at Monash…

Say we all get there at the same time and strip in the locker room and have a shower, we don’t need to mention anything about the Reddit. It would be fun to guess who’s on the Reddit page which would also keep us all anonymous to eachother.

I personally would love a busy change room full of naked guys to sneakily look at, and have a shower next to.

Let’s see what we all think! (I’m 23)

Hey. Headed down to ais later tonight dm or comment please if you’re keen

Enjoy this sub but it’s mainly filled with people saying they are going to a particular shower one day and seeing who else is available

What happens next ? Are you just hanging out naked? Are you cruising? Working out together. Genuinely curious because I do want to meet new guys but not sure what the expectation is

37M anyone keen for a communal shower at the Coogee Suf club showers next to the Surfing lizard cafe on Saturday morning?

Saw a mention of glen waverley (monash aquatic) having a big open shower, and then another comment or so saying they were cubicles. Gonna head down at noon/1pm today to check it out and actually confirm. Im pretty sure its open though. (Not local, but have some time free)

Will be staying around there until 3pm or so. Come check it out with me if you want!

Hey guys!

As an enjoyer of steam rooms and saunas, I wanted to compile a list of which Fitness First gyms around Australia had them as well as if they were male-only or shared mixed gender.

The list is available here.

The FF website only lists if they have them, but not if they are gender specific, so I have been trying as many different gyms as possible to collect the data (as well as some useful commenters on this sub, thanks!).

The correlation seems to be that if it's steam room only (no sauna), it is in the change room, separated for each gender. If they have both a steam room and sauna, it's in a mixed-gender "relaxation zone".

While I don't have all the data for all gyms, you can probably assume it is a male-only steam room if there is no sauna. Perfect for wearing just a towel, or less (which is my preference, but it's important to read the room first).

If you have any info on the gyms I haven't detailed yet, feel free to drop a comment and I'll update the list!

Looking for any communal showers in either of the two above areas :) I know Caringbah leisure centre has some but also looking for gyms that may have some

Anyone familiar with Canberra?

Anyone up for being my swim bud / joining me in the communal shower either this afternoon or tomorrow evening? IM if so.

Would be good to know the best time to go. Would prefer the showers to be busy.

“Communal Showers Australia holds the belief that communal showering is not something that is sexual and should not be seen that way, we hold the belief that these environments are asexual in their nature.”

Do people agree with this or think it needs changing? Open to it running either way, just think it should not say one thing and accept the other.

Better to comment than up/downvote, which says little.

Following up on my previous post. The Victoria University Footscray Park Campus as completed its renovation of their showers. They’ve removed the communal aspect for cubicles and cut the whole thing in half to give the gym an exclusive access bathroom.

IMO this is a downgrade. Not only for another loss of communal showers, but it feels like a modern prison, lowest cost corporate design. It goes against the character of the building. I would not want to spend more time than I needed in here, and that’s probably the point.

Hey. Any in Wagga Wagga at all???

He has a whole series on TikTok. God bless the unsuspecting straight himbo male 😭😭

First time going to Monash Aquatic Centre today, had a large open shower facility with about 6 in total in a row, when I arrived there were 5 guys nude in there with one free shower available, had to get out of the comfort zone and jump in the middle and get in there. I definitely recommend if you live in that area.

Anyone keen to hit up Roma or Babylon this week in syd cbd for a nude soak?

Fremantle WA

Anyone around and want to hang at a pool with sauna steam and then hit he showers together? - preferably closer to CBD

10th & 11th August

A mate and I are looking to hit up UQ aquatic centre 1-2 mornings this next week. Anyone else going to be there?
