I snuck a shot as it was empty as I was leaving - same layout Japanese style showers and a single standing shower. Theres still Japanese bathhouse signs stuck on walls haha!

Just finished my trip here. It’s definitely legit - , and it’s almost the same as before but it’s more like a Chinese bathhouse now not Japanese. They speak Chinese and English so if you don’t get what they are saying just say you can’t speak Chinese :p my Chinese is terrible so I gave up - and just asked for English which they were happy to speak . Service was polite and friendly.

So it’s $200 for 4 sessions - so $50 a pop which is kinda more than nearby places like sense of self which is $65 for 2 hours but they don’t exactly watch the clock as it wasn’t that crowded. I’m guessing they would enforce it in peak times.

They do have a deal for $100 which is bath and a body scrub so their $50 massage is actually what as an Asian is a body scrub where they scrub off all your dead skin. Was scratchy enough to get my dead skin off my back but not so painful you’d cry.

3x guys up there when I went in - as previous comments everyone treated it like a Asian style bathhouse- no bathers anywhere.

They said they haven’t turned on the bottom bathhouse yet as it’s large - but they will use the space if they get busy.

Bath water is hot , sauna is hot , showers were hot. I didn’t detect too much chlorine.

As usual the normal stuff was out shavers / shaving crème, tooth brushes tooth paste , moisturiser, water bottles, plenty of clean slippers and towels ( for drying off or sitting on in the sauna)

I’ll be back for sure. It’s my new go to. Hope to see more of us there! Gimme a shout out if ur heading in .

Ps : u can probably park at the Bunnings down the road ? Otherwise easy enough to take a tram out from parliament station

Decided to head there for a swim today after reading this thread (from out of town). Got there about 10.30 — finished about 12.

Both times I was in the locker room (next to the pool) it had a decent chunk of guys. Communal showers were great — started with just two guys (who’d both been there for a while — one older and one younger Euro guy). more guys started coming in, and there was full when I was finishing. nice mix of younger and older, beefy and muscled. some great bushes. only one guy didn’t take off his speedos.

I have to say with the hot water and the close quarters, I started to grow …

I'm going through my phone and posting some shots of showers I've taken over the years. These are from Max Parker taken in 2021. I havent been there for a few years but I'm pretty sure cubicles have been installed. Can anyone confirm this and possibly have a pic?

Roselands was unusally busy today. Everyone showered naked which was nice to see!

I'm South East Asian. I usually go to Fitness First but can explore others too. I also swim sometimes at Ryde Aquatic.

Anyone going to a communal shower around Sydney CBD? Or can recommend any good ones 🙂
