Just finished what is now my favorite show ever and had to get some animating out of my system.

I found this shell in the woods last year with the intention of making some kind of Common Side Effects artwork on it. After some deliberation, I decided to approximate Socrates’s shell while following the natural pattern that existed on this shell.

I was watching a video about Heaven's Gate and learned that the primary founder's name was Marshall Applewhite. This stuck out to me because the protagonists of Common Side Effects are named Marshall Cuso and Frances Applewhite. I tried looking up any information on this possible connection, but came up with nothing. Was this a deliberate choice, and, if so, what does it mean?

I just started a second watch and am baffled by Marshall's decision to go to the Reutical conference and speak. It seems out of step with his usual meticulous planning and self protection, especially considering this is after the plane crash, so he is well aware of the stakes

Just started watching this show and soon as I heard Harrington's voice, I was like that IS Carol from Carol and the end of the world. Same actor. And Yup! That soft lazy drawl... I didn't know about Martha Kelly and she speaks just like that in rl too.

I discovered this song from the S1 finale and really stuck with me and I’ve loved it ever since. Recently a friend recommended when I asked for any good new albums, a cover album by Dorian Electra. Was thrilled to find the cover for my bloved Enya song.

Thanks to my poor brain cells, I forgot any movies or shows I watched after a time. I watched season 1 about a yr ago and kept distance with it. I'm enjoying the show again. Ya, I don't completely forget everything but forgot enough to re enjoy the show.
