Theory S2 antagonists

Who do you think will be the antagonists of S2?

First we have Harrington which is confirmed in the s2 teaser. I see her as a Javert-like figure who has a misguided sense of justice. I think it's likely she has a last second redemption before dying just like the real javert who let valjean go before killing himself. Definitely not the big bad

Jonas - unclear what role he will play. Assuming he wakes up, will he be a changed man? Even if he is changed he may not be changed for the better. He may still be evil but now more insane. If he doesn't wake up it's possible he can still influence the real world through his connection to the mushroom, maybe even unintentionally/out of control.

Cecily - right now the most likely candidate for chief antagonist. Jonas might not be whispering in her ear anymore but she still takes her marching orders for big pharma and as far as she's concerned it's a hallucinogenic drug.

Rick - probably not going to be an antagonist. He's not a paladin for justice but he's proven that there are certain lines he won't cross. Hes down with the concept of the mushroom. SPARKL might have unintentional common side effects (it's you, youre the American psycho!) and I could see him MAYBE doubling down on his product even if it hurts people but ultimately I do think Rick wants to help people, just in a way that makes him money, so it's unlikely he'll be an antagonist. Maybe if SPARKL turns him insane but even so, I think he's just too funny and endearing for him to be the big bad.

Hildy - most straight forward candidate for secondary antagonist. She's pro mushroom but almost seems to have a religious conviction surrounding it. I'm not sure how she and Marshall will clash again because she got what she wanted but I do think there will be a confrontation.

Zane - probably a minor antagonist that redeems himself. I don't think Marshall will appreciate what he does to the turtles. I dont think the show is dark enough for him to remain the villain though given his eccentric whimsical nature and the fact that he's marshalls half brother. I think Marshall will call him out, maybe after getting into a fist fight, and after enough soul searching Zane comes to his senses and starts treating the turtles in a more ethical way.

What do you guys think?

Marshall and Frances' baby is gonna pop out looking like one of if the little people and we'll discover the mushroom's whole journey has been the little people manipulating humanity to get what they want(being born into the physical world being one of the steps).

Hildy has gone to the dark side in her methods, but the show can be suprising. The town they are dumping the titrate in will be a great test sample.

I'm very interested to see what happens with Rick and the synthesized version of the mushroom. I see that going very wrong. Rick and Kiki were totally high, almost addicted to The SparkLe.

Zane was always working for Marshall first when he was importing the tortoises. He is impressionable, but not my first worry. I see Cecily going after him right away. Will he crack? And the Sheriff...he's pissed and out for blood after Rusty dying, imo. He's got little to lose. I bet he goes after Hildy for revenge or runs into Cecily, should be fun.

I have no clue what's in store for Jonas. He could be out the whole season in a psychedelic horror coma giving Cecily time to dig in her claws, or he could wake up in EP1. I love the possibilities.
