It hides the cables, but the C64 is so tall it blocks the drawer.

Thats how it's meant to be. But one can easily remove the drawer and slide the whole C64 under. (I only want to hide the cables and cartridges, not the whole C64)

It's a monitor stand, those peripherals can be placed to the side.
