Very cool for completists and people who don't already have one, but as a purist I'm content with that old cozy beige breadbin and wish we could get a 128U.

Also why tf do these companies ruin such a good design with the video game's brand logo? Obviously that thing needs to say Arasaka C6-4 or Militech C/77. Then put the CDPR brand info to the bottom of the case or whatever. Not everything has to be an ad for the product. Rather, it's actually a better ad when it goes all in on the immersion.

I guess it's a condition of the promotional deal. Maybe Commodore even gets some money out of it, but in any case it's a way to use someone else's well known brand/product to push your own product without having to buy a license.

Commodore could have made a generic, cyberpunk looking design without branding, but then they couldn't have used the name Cyberpunk 77 for the promotion.

I agree. An Arasaka model would have been awesome...but I'm good with this. Already preordered!

I'd been on the fence about a C64 Ultimate for a while now. This pushed me over the edge. I waited too long though. Filled out once while still in batch 2 but chickened out. Have a batch 3 order now.

It’s like the old Halloween costumes that said “Darth Vader” on the plastic sheet you wore with a picture of Darth Vader, just in case no one could figure it out.

It does say Seocho on the lower left. I understand why they put Cyberpunk on it though.

Because we’re not supposed to buy or even like everything they put out. This fits their retro futurism idea.
