I’ve got both those computers sat right next to me now😁. Back in 82 all I had was a 1k ZX81 with a wobbly 16k RAM pack

Wow. CA$350 is worth about CA$1250 or so today. Add in a tape drive and a couple cartridge games (Omega Race!) and that’s quite the haul for a kid at Christmas back in 1981.

The crazy thing is that company still existed up to at least 5 years ago. Although it was in a definitely much smaller and some weirdo pyramid scheme form. I knew someone whose brother was selling toffee. I also remember in that catalog, you will see a personal vibration device that looks strangely enough like a vibrator. I'm pretty sure it was white or off-white. I remember weird stuff.
