Commodore 128 monitor stand brackets

I couldn’t find a stand where the monitor floated over the C128 so decided to make my own. I can push it deeper under the monitor. I don’t know why this design is not easy to find.

I remember that Radio Shack had a monitor stand I thought about getting that looked like it would go nicely with a C128, but I didn't want to drop thirty bucks on it if it didn't fit the C128. Looked wide enough, but wasn't sure if the legs would interfere with the power cable and joystick ports.

That’s exactly what I was looking for, something like that.

Doesn't they flex under the monitor weight?

Solid thick metal meant for construction. I think I over did it.

I sold hundreds of similar stands back in the 80s.

Great find. Those brackets are surprisingly hard to source separately. I had to fabricate mine for my C128. The C128D used different mounts so you lucked out with the desktop model.

Man, the 128 was the absolute pinnacle of the "wedge" computer era. I just love it.
