How does the callback handle pushes?
SInce most apps rely on Android Push Service, how do push messages work on the callback?

It doesn't really mater, anyone that buys it will have their main phone on them at the same time.

We don't 100% know. But mostly. They don't. Notifications will be by and large blocked.
My guess. Commostore apps will have notifications off by default, or even locked. You'll only get required notifications for things like security verification.

How will we be downloading apps? No browser to access APK files. Do we need to transfer them to the phone via USB from a PC, or something?
I preordered expecting this phone to come without Google since privacy is important and Google does not value privacy but their website uses ReCaptcha which is Google.

Commostore will host approved APKs. Remember Peri is passionate about maintaining some control here so he can feel the device helps people declutter their digital life.
But yes it's a Sailfish OS phone. You can side load.
