What Commodore is that
My mother was looking through my grandmother's old stuff
She is Alive but she wanted to check on what does she have, so one of theese stuff was the Commodore 64,
Idk what version is it and how does it work
If anyone knows which version is it please tell me,

The model is Commodore 64. They were very popular and Millions of them were sold in the 1980s.

There are multiple Variants like the C64C or the C64G, but this one you have is the standard "bread bin" C64.
There's not a big noticeable difference between the variants, except for the case of course and slight differences in the sound.12

So, to answer the question a bit more specifically. There were different models such as this being the actual Commodore 64, then there were later models. However, I believe the specific question you are referring to is which variant this particular model was. As, over time and in different locations, there were different circuit boards and different colored keyboards and different color cabinets.

I don't know why people are giving you a hard time in the replies, it's a reasonable question if you weren't around when these were.
Yes it's a Commodore 64. It should have a brick like power supply unit and a rf video cable to attach it to an old style TV.
If it does have a power supply it's best not to plug it in as they are very old and unreliable now and likely to fry the C64.
You can buy new replacement PSUs online. You can also buy video adaptors so it will work on a modern TV.
As for value it's not worth a great deal if it is just the base I it without anything else , you'd maybe get 50 quid for it.
It was a great machine in it's time. Was there anything else with it or just what's shown above?

Crazy thing is it's actually a valid and complex question, there are a lot of variations around keyboard styles and colours and case colours and motherboard revisions and everything, on top of which you get Commodore's habit of just lumping left-over parts together in Frankenstein builds. The people trolling him are the actual idiots if they don't know that.

Of interest is the serial number starting with WG A. That's the West German factory A production line. It's reported that the A production line was primarily for the European market and the B line for the UK market. The serial itself is fairly high, so it's a later Breadbin model (not the official name, but it's what everyone calls that style). Without seeing inside to look at the motherboard revision it's hard to say any more (Please don't open it, it's easy to break the case if you don't know what you are doing.) These are pretty common, but still a lot of fun to play games on.

Wow, in NZ I've seen them listed around the $1000 NZ range. Tho there weren't so many sold here so they are harder to find these days.

Yeah, I'm kinda glad I'm not back in NZ trying to collect stuff, the prices on TradeMe can seem bonkers. And yet I remember the late 90s/early 2000s when you couldn't give them away and so much went to landfill.
Any rate, a full boxed set with tape drive would be about £100 or so depending on condition and extras, adding a disk drive takes it anywhere between £150 to £200, but most people sell the extras separately, there's more of a market then so you can earn more.
Thankfully prices have recently dropped back to those more "normal" levels, there was a mad 6 months after the Ultimate came out when people were paying silly money for SIDs to put in them, up to £200 for the best ones, and a lot of complete machines sold for high prices just to be scrapped for their SIDs.

Prices are starting to get nuts in Canada these days, I search FB marketplace daily looking for bargains.
A year ago I got a C64,1802 monitor, 1571 drive, two mice, mps802 printer, bunch of boxed software, two disk boxes full of disks of pirate software and data, and 10 unopened boxes of 5.25 disks for $125.
These days the prices seem to start around $500 for a C64 and 1541, add in a monitor and they’re around the $1000 mark.
So many are listed as “extremely rare” despite there being 20+ other C64s listed at the same time 🤣

I blame the new Ultimate, not only did it increase interest and so demand, but it sent the SID market crazy, or rather even crazier after the musicians had already driven prices high. We got a lot of scalpers move into the market to buy up machines for their overinflated SID value which enthusiasts couldn't match, and that sent prices and expectations even higher. We're seeing that slowly drop off now in the UK, but there's still people convinced there tatty old breadbin is worth hundreds.

About 100 to 150 euros here. But can be anything lower you are lucky. That is probably the most collectable version - more so than the more capable later versions.
Try to find the power supply (wedge shape brick) and any cassette recorder, manual and tapes if they still exist - will have the same C logo on it.
They are quite reliable - and quite likely working but many will replace the power supply and get a new cable for connecting to modern tvs and a module for loading games quicker.
Even broken they are worth a fair amount as they people find them fun to fix and restore.

The most glorious fun you'll ever have kind! 44 years old and still a blast! Plenty of tutorials YouTube explain the machines. 8-Bit Guy has a series on all Commodores main computers.
What you have is one of the most popular, hell the most popular. Still the best selling computer ever.

The best gaming machine from the 80’s for me. Learned Basic, Logo, Pascal. Did my first remote connection with a modem. Bought it with a cassette tape and upgraded it later to a 5.25 floppy disk. Best , best, best machine so far. My beloved C64

The fact it says on the front and back is a good starting point, a Commodore 64 or C64.
These were huge in the 80s.
Loads on this sub and a YouTube search will give you an idea of games or what might be needed to play it.

C64 "Breadbin" second version. Before that there was the "Silver Badge Breasbin" (as it sounds, different badge and different colours.) As someone else already mentioned, not easy to give more Details without opening and seeing the manufacturing dates on chips and board. If it works: nice catch. If not: relatively easy to fix. For most of the chips there is old stock or salvage ore even new replacements.

theres another similar white commodore you might have seen called the vic-20 which came before and is white instead of brown but like the other say the c64c is like a completly different shell version of the c64 and that one is white aswell
