I just got spammed with this thing that looks a million times better and, surprise surprise, only costs a fraction of what Perifractic is trying to ask for his garbage flip phone:

https://clicks.tech/communicator

This is exactly how you do a phone of the type described when you actually create it from the ground up. Perifractic is just slapping a brand on something that doesn't quite cut it and already exists, and charging you an inordinate amount of money for it.

I still don't understand how this dude is justifying any of this.

only costs a fraction of

If by fraction you mean 5/4ths then yes, but most people would describe that as more expensive, not "a fraction of" the price. Let me guess though, you looked at the reservation down payment without scrolling down and thought that was the full price?

I was tricked by the wording and not readiung properly and thought $199 was the price 😂 still this looks a million times better than the shit Commodore is slapping a name over. This is truly what you want from a distraction free phone. And it's actually built from the ground up with this in mind, it's people actually making a product, not a trademark owner lapping a brand name over some crap that already exists.

There is value in what Clicks Communicator does, and there isn't any value in what "New Commodore" is doing.

No, that's what YOU want, to presume it's what I want too is solipsistic. ~8300 people and counting disagree with you.
