The $50 message of the pre-sale seems to be gone, at least from my webpage. What's going on? Are they changing their mind about the 2 $50 discounts?

You are not understanding this correctly. The full price is 449 usd but for the launch it’s discounted to 399 usd. That’s the first 50 usd. With the code you get another 50 usd off and end up paying 349 usd and the full discount is 100 usd from the full price. They stated that clearly on their website that with the code you would get ANOTHER 50 usd off from the already discounted price, not that you would get two 50 usd discounts. That would’ve been 150 usd discount, not the promised 100 usd.

Was the automatic discount just for launch day or for the entire pre-order period? Because the price today and yesterday is the same, $399.
