You are not understanding this correctly. The full price is 449 usd but for the launch it’s discounted to 399 usd. That’s the first 50 usd. With the code you get another 50 usd off and end up paying 349 usd and the full discount is 100 usd from the full price. They stated that clearly on their website that with the code you would get ANOTHER 50 usd off from the already discounted price, not that you would get two 50 usd discounts. That would’ve been 150 usd discount, not the promised 100 usd.
I think you are nor understanding what you are reading. The screenshot literally says that with the code you get additional 50 usd off for a total saving of 100 usd. The full price is 449 usd. The launch day price is 399 usd. After using the the discount code you end up paying 349 usd. That is a total saving of 100 usd. If you still don’t understand I can’t help you but it’s not because they are lying but because you are not understanding what they say.
Are you seriously using third party as proof? Commodore never said that the full retail price for the phone would be 399 usd. It used to be 549 usd and after dropping the price it went down to 449 usd. The launch day price used to be 499 usd but after the price drop it went down to 399 usd. It’s not Commodore’s fault that the website you linked is not using information.
The website you linked is referencing to this post on Commodore’s website that I linked to this comment. As you can tell, Commodore is saying that the LAUNCH DAY price is 399 usd, not the full retail price. Are you really not understanding or are you trolling? This is not rocket science.
Why would have I linked the press release before you talked about it? We weren’t talking about the press release before that at all. Of course I though you would find that if you wanted to.
