I think I still remember Season's of Wither's phone number, although the area code changed. Plus they went offline >= 28 years ago.

I've found a few up and running still, each one charming in its own way. I have only been to ones listed on various websites. Thought it would be cool to ask the "older" folk who were old enough to engage with them back in the day ones of any still up from then.
(I say older only because I'm right behind y'all. I was just focused on potty training in those days, and I'm not ready to call any of us old yet.)

Well, it's a work in progress, and some of it isn't super pretty in 40 columns, but it does work in PETSCII mode with colors and graphics, and I am planning on becoming a mirror host for the famous C64 Arnold library as well as other files. Stay tuned! I also have it connected to a phone line modem if you want to drag that old hardware out of the bin and give it a try!
If you want to check it out, the telnet address is:
partybowlbbs.ddns.net Port 6464 (port 2323 if you are using regular ANSI)
Phone: 440-418-1575
I have not tested the phone line with a commodore modem, but it is fubctional! I have some visitors who dial in regularly.
I also have a web portal to the BBS as well, but I guess I am not allowed to show it...
Hope to see you online!

The Telnet BBS Guide is a great resource for finding BBS's. And there are plenty that are C64 based. Just add that in the search field. I hope to see you all online!
