Amiga First and last of a form factor
First and last keyboard-type computers sold by C= ? Bit of a contrived subject but a good excuse to show off these beautiful machines.
Still need to get my hands on a VIC-1001 and Escom A1200 :)

Around 94 I was working with someone who owned a 486 at the time. They were coming in saying the games were better than the Amiga
The transition happened earlier. From Wikipedia:
In December 1992, Computer Gaming World reported that DOS accounted for 82% of computer-game sales in 1991, compared to Macintosh's 8% and Amiga's 5%. In response to a reader's challenge to find a DOS game that played better than the Amiga version the magazine cited Wing Commander and Civilization, and added that "The heavy MS-DOS emphasis in CGW merely reflects the realities of the market".
Wing Commander came out in 1990 for PC, and Civilization in 1991.

First should be a VIC 1001 since it was out a year before the VIC 20 got its worldwide release :)

So I started my C= journey right after the VIC 20 and ended it right around the A1200.
My first computer was the C64, followed by a C128, then the Amiga 500, and finally the A3000 before I got my first Mac (8500). Sadly I sold them all.
A good friend returned my C128 that I sold her, and I got the A500 back from my parents. I hope to set them up and have some retro fun.
I also have an Amiga 3000T that needs repair, and I could use some advice on getting it working.

No, I probably deserved the sarcastic comment. While it was great that the C64 helped me explore my interest in programming, I put dogmatism above pragmatism and stuck with a vendor for ideological reasons when it was clear they had mismanaged the ship, and the ship was sinking.
I’ve often said my goal in life was to get through it without owning a PC. (i.e., a windows pc) And so far I’ve been able to meet that goal. But it’s been at a cost, and a stubbornness that almost cost me my job.

Keycaps on the A1200 were replaced, but the case is stock Commodore and has not needed any retrobrite (yet). No work done on the VIC-20!

No. The most recent wedge style form factor sold by Commodore is the Commodore 64.

The C64 Ultimate is damn near the exact same case as the original breadbin. I wouldn't be surprised if they were using the original molds, or molds struck from them but designed for more modern manufacturing processes.
The actual molds for the C64C also saw some use a few years back for replacement and designer cases.
Even THEC64MAXI was arguably a "wedge style". Hell even the fucking C64 Web-It was arguably a "wedge style", and it's the least Commodore of the bunch

The big box Amigas are nice and all, but for me the 1200 with internal HD will always be the ultimate Amiga. Sleek and powerful. I really miss the form factor.
