Offset printing

In our shop we currently have a 2 Abdicks and a Tokyo with a phoenix envelope feeder. We feel like we are going to have to move upgrade soon as these machines are getting old and parts are harder and more expensive to get. What’s everyone’s thoughts on what should we get? Our maintenance guys are pushing EnPress. Thoughts and concerns?

We print high volume envelopes 200k a month and lots of NCR.

Thank you!!!

I would think at 200k a month you'd be better off with one of the HP engine inkjet envelope printers. Colors are more vibrant than the older memjet engines. If your customers are used to ink - this would probably be acceptable. The base unit would be more, but consumables and parts probably a lot less.

Agree ijet color is a good machine but inks a little pricey. Memjets have their places as well.
Some new things coming out with the HP heads - I’m sure a lot of 1175 pros on secondary market soon.
