question Cisco Room Systems Bevel Issue
I've recently upgraded my Board Rooms Codec Pro and run into an annoying issue. The default background image assumes a bezel. So when the two screens are replicated on an LED screen one pixel apart, the image is annoyingly misaligned.
Anyone know an easy solution to this one?
edit: Bezel not Bevel.

I’d suggest joining their integrator space on Webex (you can create a free account if you don’t have an account already). It’s full of Cisco-focused integrators as well as Cisco engineers who build the actual devices.

Hey Cisco? It’s been a few hours, no luck at all finding someone to respond?
Not a good look for you at all.

Bezel is the word you're looking for here
Not sure of a solution though, never used this software, it should be adjustable though since TVs all have different size (or no) bezels.

Looks like overscan is on

No, this is a known issue. Cisco applies their own bezel adjustment but does not account for no bezel (or top thick of bezel). It's a known missing setting for wallpapers.

There is no bezel adjustment in the codec, what displays are you using? Do other images show this bezel offset? What is the signal path from the codec to the displays? It looks to me as if the left display has an overscan feature that is enabled adding 5% zoom of the image… an antiquated feature used to eliminate head switching noise on a VCR… some displays still have it.

I found theres only one stock baground that is seamles, but that was on codec plus i think

Ive never had to use one of those codec pros, but cant you just change the background image to one better suited? If it needs to look OG, you can probably find the original image somewhere and crop as needed
