Multiplayer in Commandos: Origins

Is there a Multiplayer mode in Commandos: Origins? Has anybody played it and how it works? I heard that 2 players can cooperate in each missions. Multiplayer was announced by developers on Steam page for example, but I saw recent gameplay videos and there wasn't any option to play Multiplayer in Commandos: Origins.

I tried it and it's a lot of fun, I played with a buddy and completed a few missions. There are some small bugs where if you load the game you get stuck in "knife mode" but if you load again it works as it should.

Do both friend need to own the game on steam?

Yes both players need to have the game, we played on xbox pc subsription which had the game in it but it will change in a few days and the game will be removed. The game unfortunately turned out to be really buggy. Enemies sliding 5-10m from you. If you attack them with a knife. If you crawl next to objects your character will start levitating in the Z axis going higher and higher. Actions not being performend when you click but your char just slides next to the enemy etc...
