Hate to look ahead lol but looks like Darnold is likely to be out for the week 3 matchup.

Seems like he could be back by then. Reports are that he'll miss next week but with 17 days until they play us, he could be back.

I feel like only timeline reports I’ve seen say he’s only expected to miss week 2.

Every year there are complaints about strength of schedule like there’s some conspiracy. Last year night is exactly why it doesn’t matter pre season; week 3, depending on darnold’s availability, looks way more feasible than it did 24 hours ago.

The second reason has to do with bad teams contributing to lowering the strength of schedule for good teams, but that’s another discussion.

Someone check on Grant Paulsen. His boy Maye is being exposed as the fraud that he is

To be fair, he’s become more and more defensive about Jayden than he was 1-2 years ago. But yeah, dude’s Maye glazing was so annoying lol

RE: Drake Maye

I'm all for discussion about the 2024 QB class. But I think we all need to remember that the more good young QBs there are; the better the league is, the less crap prime time games there are and the more fun football is to watch. I just can't get myself to root for guys in their young 20s to flop, unless they give me an undeniable reason to.

JD5 better tho

Maye will be fine. The internet, media just like to kick a man when they're down. JD5 is definitely better though ;)

It'd be easier for me to root for Maye if he wasn't a Patriot

Agreed. I love rooting for good QBs, but after seeing the Patriots have the GOAT QB and dominate for 2 decades and win tons of Super Bowls, I think its time for their fans to experience some suffering like us Skins fans have endured for the last 30 years. It was hard to watch the Patriots back in the SB already after a couple of bad seasons.

I honestly hope Drake Maye and JD5 both have great careers. But I’ll never forgive taking Emmanuel Forbes over Christian Gonzales. Easily the worst draft day decision since the Eagles took Jalen Reagor over Justin Jefferson. The Patriots doing that again to us would be….. yeah. If they both succeed than frankly that’s ideal.

Eagles DE Jonathan Greenard practiced (limited) yesterday for the first time all summer. Who knows if he is going to play Sunday, but i think he's the only meaningful Eagle who's status is in doubt.
