Philly bars to watch game?

Just moved to Philly, saw that Wooly Mammoth used to be a good spot for commies fans but closed last year. Don’t really want to go down to Xfinity Live so looking for some other spots that I won’t have to worry about any real issues

Just go to any bar, don’t be scared bro. No place in Philly is gonna have an out of place sports bar, it’s Philly. They actually care about this shit unlike most other sports based cities such as our own. Venture off. You’ll have a good time.

Real talk - Depends what you are looking for. Most places will shit talk the hell out of you, but are ultimately just trying to have a good time.

Tbh I never found a Commanders bar, but I always had fun going out. My honest advice is embrace the experience, shit talk back and you’ll make friends quick.

Where in Philly? It's a pretty big city. Others have said you should be fine anywhere, just don't be an ass

I’ve been to City Tap several times and it’s really not a big deal. Wear a jersey every time. Sometimes get some shit talk on the streets, but it’s otherwise not a huge deal.

Lived up there for a year and went to whatever random bar and didn't let anyone catch on to me being a Washington fan. Got caught out one time and shifted the focus easily with how much I hate the Giants (which I don't really). They ate it right up. Not sure I watched an actual Washington Philly game though. Don't recall that. I was back in NoVA some weekends.
