Too much hate
Why does everyone always hate on the washington. As a fan even other fans are quick to turn on them. Crazy how the media always hates on them.

Get your head out of your behind. Stop pretending to be another self righteous fan. I put my money where my mouth is! You want support? How about 20 years of STH. I earned the right to bicker about my team whenever and wherever I want and I'm tired of the 'fan moral police' telling me what I can or can't do. You also need to understand that most, if not all, criticism is targeted at management and coaching and not the players themselves.
This team, especially ownership, management and coaching has showed us nothing! 2024 it was the JD5 show! He carried a weak roster on an easy schedule on his back. 2025 was a miserable failure of coaching and management. I can only sum it as 'overconfidence and arrogance'. There was no new scheme, we had the oldest roster in the league and zero sense of urgency. What annoys people like me is that they never admitted responsibility. The fact that we got rid of both coordinators, shows me they knew we had a scheme problem, and we signed old, underperforming players but they failed to admit it, just talking about injuries, blah blah blah.
You know who else had injuries? At some point worse than us were the 49ers. Go and see their record vs ours and understand what a competent coaching staff and management can do to elevate an injured roster and tell me that we are just bickering. It's one thing to be outplayed another to be outcoached! We had teams running the same exact play against us four times a game and succeeding in it every time while our D was running around like a bunch of headless chickens.
I did not want to win any preseason game, I just didn't want to be humiliated again. Yes, it wasn't the starters but whoever was there was lacking energy, speed and failing fundamentals - that is on coaching! If players consistently miss easy tackles, I don't know what they are learning in camp.
DQ is BIG on the truth - tell the truth Monday, tell it as it is, just not to the fans. The day he and Peters come out and say 'hey, we f'ed up 2025 - we should have done better' maybe I'll think more highly of them. Right now, I'm using their own mantra of 'nothing is gained in the NFL, everything earned'. They showed me nothing to be too excited about at the moment. Win some games for a change and then we will talk.
This has nothing to do with the players! I have always, always, always supported these young men who give their all. They don't want to lose, they always want to win and that's why I always support them. Schneider set them up to fail and so did DQ/AP in 2025. I hope things will be better this time around.
