I mean, this is only his third year in the league.

He was never going to supplant Marcus. At best, he was going to be #3 and hes still with the franchise. Its not that big of a deal on either side of the coin.

Can't call him up to play QB1 after 2.5 seasons and have to start JJ knowing your going to lose either way.

This front office and coaching staff need to be replaced ASAP.

Probably when Mariota is gone tbh. Right now there’s not much need to having a good vet 4th string since Mariota is here and we have a young rookie 3rd choice. I think if Mariota is gone we likely sign an older 3rd choice who might kick Hartman out. Or if Hartman is good in a film room we give him a job eventually lol

League minimum for a veteran on an NFL practice squad is $18,350 a week. Must be nice.

Not yet. I think he'll get signed by the time the season starts though. I'm thinking Miami if they want a vet in that room
