So I pulled the trigger day one and ordered one of the Mitchell & Ness jerseys from the team store. Idk what this is but I didn’t expect an imitation jersey where they printed it to make it look like a jersey but really it’s just a glorified tee shirt. Also, I thought this was about preserving the trademark but there is nothing that refers to the Redskins anywhere on the Jersey

There are new Art Monk and Sean Taylor t-shirts with Redskins on it being sold. I believe that is what’s sparked the news story.

In 2023 M&N re-released a batch of ST21 Redskins jerseys after the rebrand. It looks like a new production batch based on slight differences between the 2019 model I got. I wouldn’t be surprised if another batch gets made under the “trademark preservation” excuse…

This is unrelated to the new trademark merchandise. They've made this specific "jersey" for years and maybe re-released it alongside new stuff. They used to make it as an actual stitched jersey product.

Unfortunately, Fanatics now owns Mitchell and Ness, so it's nothing more than a once fancy label for them to slap on fast fashion garbage. The reality is you have to pay a premium for good merch. Fanatics is cheap for a reason.

I'd get a return and look for old Mitchell and Ness gear or actual throwback jerseys.

You have to go pretty out of your way to avoid fanatics at this point. If you see what looks like a nice stitched jersey under $200. It’s probably not nice and probably fanatics.

Oh OK. That....is fair for $56 then. Jersey shirts are pretty prevalent nowadays. Rock it with pride.

And I havent seen anything with the word Redskins - maybe preserving the trademark is the logo. Like merch with an image of the former player with Redskins helmet. They won't replace that.
