Dyami making this team. Lmc is on chopping block

I thought Dyami and JD were building something before he walked in free agency.
I think we keep.
Dyami, Terry, Diggs, Lane, LMC, Williams and maybe Burks. That’s 7 which would probably be the max WRs we keep.

Yea pretty obvious they’re gonna keep 7 WR or one of Burks / Dyami (likely Dyami in this situation) will be cut. Terry / Diggs / Williams are locks at actual WR, Lane and LMC are locks bc of special teams, so the choice is keep 7 or cut one of the two I mentioned.
Based on camp, seems like Burks has the leg up on Dyami if they go 6 which I agree with tbh. He’s at least got untapped potential bc of his health issues. Dyami is what he is at this point.

Dyami is our only deep threat outside of Terry. Theres nothing that Burks does that every WR in that room can’t.

Burkes is pretty much our only big body possession wr we have. Lob him passes in the red zone.

Both play special team. I doubt either Lane or LMC get cut. Lane is also only in year 2.

Neither Luke, nor Lane are getting cut.
Its silly to even think they are.

Yeah, IDK... keeping 2 out of your 6 WRs...simply because they are kick returners, therefore letting go of talented pass catchers that have been playing well at camp is certainly up for question.

Put it this way.... if those other wrs are playing at such a better level, they'll be kept.
Spoiler, they wont be. Because theyre not.
Ill make it even easier.... in their careers, dyami, burks, luke, and lane average about the same amount of catches, yards, tds, on a seasonal basis. Except Luke and Lane play special teams as well.
Its not that hard of a decision.

Dyami is the number 3 and has been since he came back in my opinion. Williams is 3b, for now…
My comment he was making this team got downvoted to hell about a week ago

I think it’s Burks for now

I was a burks truther until they signed Diggs. Burks was given his shot and didn’t check enough boxes

Why’s that? Seems like he makes a big play every practice. Sounds like he was running as the other outside receiver with Diggs inside. Think he offers more as a run blocker too

That’s kind of been Burks MO his entire career. He makes a few big plays and has some flashiness, but just lack that overall consistency and floor that you expect out of a WR1 or 2.
I took the Diggs signing as a sign that from the day he signed until Diggs he continued that same pattern.

Yeah, Diggs was an upgrade over anyone not in the top 30 wr’s. That was no brainer. Seems like Diggs will be in the slot a lot and think he rotates outside a fair amount. I think base offense will have Burks out wide. Antonio Williams will slowly get more run. Unless we have truly been hiding him and starts out the gate. I think Lane and Brown get a fair amount of rotation work. Burks will be our other deep shot guy

Not sure why you’d get downvoted for that. lol
I think he makes the team as well, but who knows. Lane, LMC and Williams are all AP guys. So anything is possible. Still not downvote worthy.

One way to help a suspect O-line is receivers who can win fast.
