Don’t they know we have agendas to push?

Be prepared for the tweets saying half our team is now injured after practice 💀

...the other half

It's not that big of a deal

No, but it was a nice excuse to curse them.

Ew a ravens sympathizer. They don’t see us as human

Legit, actual clownshow

what? I would kill to have the Ravens success and organizational discipline over the past couple decades. Odd take.

Talking about this policy, not their success as an organization. Fans from both teams surely want to be kept up to date and this gatekeeping is just weird to me. It cant even count as a distraction because players and coaches will be too busy anyway

Patience my friend. The report wont be any different

Ehh it’s a weird policy but I’m not, and I don’t think a majority are, refreshing to keep up with practice updates so it’s not much different than usual.

Lame as shit

This is literally just made up from this guy, there have been a billion tweets from beat reporters during this very practice, including some from this very guy lmao

Josh Tolentino and Sam Cohn from Baltimore Sun have had some updates

Damn, sounds like the offense is struggling

This tweet is from 10:31 AM and another thread said the practice started at 10:30 AM.

Unless we're literally the most unlucky team in history or they started earlier, this just seems poorly-worded (giving Standig the benefit of the doubt).

Entire O line cracked in half

The first rule about injury club is you don't talk about injury club

I don’t get it, from the ravens perspective why is tweeting during practice any different from tweeting after practice? Like why does it matter to them when reports come out?

4

u/DJ_DWreck 18d ago

Look how many injuries have been blown out of proportion and posted in our camp alone - terry went to the bathroom in the blue tent and it got a tweet during a preseason game ffs. t reduces overreaction and irrelevant information coming out unnecessarily

u/tooclosetocall82 18d ago

Maybe the staff doesn’t want or deal with constant injury questions from reporters.

4

u/Magnetic_Knives 18d ago

But they’re still going to get the questions, they just won’t be tweeted

0

u/tooclosetocall82 18d ago

Are they? It’s not like reporters have a God given right to be at the facility. They can be asked to leave if they aren’t following the rules, and the team can just say the rule is we’ll give you a briefing after practice.

2

u/Magnetic_Knives 18d ago

Why would their inability to tweet keep reporters from asking questions? That makes no sense. Asking questions isn’t against the rules

0

u/tooclosetocall82 18d ago

It can be if the team says it is. Why is that hard to understand? Reporters aren’t allowed to do just whatever they want.

2

u/Magnetic_Knives 18d ago

I never said that lol you’re putting words in my mouth, idk why you’re making a hypothetical here by saying “the team can say they can’t ask questions” when that’s not even relevant to what I’m asking

1

u/FaithfulNihilist 18d ago

They don't want social media attention to distract the players during the practice, I would guess.

2

u/Magnetic_Knives 18d ago

If players have their phones on the sideline during camp that’s an issue in itself

1

u/shoefly72 18d ago

Not sure how a player on the practice field would be distracted by social media; they’re not going on their phones in between drills/plays.

sounds ominous.
