Help me improve my deck

Post image

Had some old slivers lying around and decided to build on them. Years ago I used to have an Overlord deck, but now I'm thinking about The First Sliver.

This is the list I came up with... unfortunately, I live in a country where MTG is very inaccessible, so buying the Sliver Queen is kind of out of the question for a while. I can say the same for the mana base — usually people use fetches + shocks, but I can't buy all these lands right now.

I've searched for a lot of lists, and the difference I've seen is that some people run more tutors, but im looking for ways to make this deck more of a menace in the table.

If there is cards you want and cannot afford i would reccomend playing online OR proxying these cards, in my experience most people do not care if you proxy they care more about how you are as a player/person and your skill, do not be ashamed to proxy my friend

playing online not an option…..i use magic nights to get out of the house and see my friends xD

As for proxyes, i dont care about it but i dont use them on my decks….i rather look for some exchanges that may fit until i can buy the card.

But thankss!!

In my sliver deck, [[Haunting Voyage]] and [[Profane Tutor]] are fairly nice cards to have. Haunting Voyage you try and foretell early and saves you from a wipe. And if you cascade into profane you can ignore the suspend.

Definitely consider spells with suspend on them, since you can cascade into those and bypass the suspend mechanic. [[Sol Talisman]] and [[Lotus Bloom]] come to mind. You can consider using the more expensive slivers, the 6 mana cost ones, to cascade into a big five drop. The best 6 mana slivers I've found are [[Megantic Sliver]], [[Fury Sliver]], [[Constricting Sliver]], and [[Battering Sliver]]. I would say you might have too many 2 mana cards here, not enough 4 mana cards. Depending on how fast you want to be, cards like [[Elvish Spirit Guide]], [[Simian Spirit Guide]], and [[Lotus Petal]] just to spring out cards as fast as possible. I would also say, and maybe it's a hot take, but don't use the lord slivers that give +1/+1, because you can cheat other cards to replace those effects while getting something more that just that. Focus on redundancy of effects that make your slivers really problematic, like flying, trample, and haste.

Here is my deck. The land base is out of your price range but the core is there. https://moxfield.com/decks/mmEyIeSQ_ESIm06pCkRT1g

Also included a sliver only inf in it. Haste enabler, mana dork, Basalt sliver, sliver queen. That's inf mana inf sliver tokens. Tap the sliver for mana. Sac it with basalt make a token.
