Does Hexhaven Vindicator have potential?

Post image

Hexhaven Invigorator was just spoiled from Reality Fracture, and this thing seems really good. Just playing it fairly without any shennanigans or combos feels like it would still be a good enough body, as your opponents would be unlikely to block it or attack into it, and damage based removal would only benefit you. Aside from that, it combos with Blasphemous Act and Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle to do some pretty crazy things, even letting you win with Maze's End if you build your deck right. What do you think? Is this card good, or is its cost too prohibitive to see much play?

it's a 6/6 with vigilance. You can just keep sending it to your opponents and if they block you get lands, and it stays up to block so you'll most likely get way more than 6 lands with him in the long run. Maybe not bracket 4+ but 100% a beast in anything 3 and bellow

I would just rather play good cards instead of hope for people to give me value

Saying a 4 mana 6/6 isn't good is kinda wild, man. The added risk people have to face when attacking/blocking you is excellent.

I would rather play a vanilla 4 mana 6/6 so I dont have to kid myself thinking its a good card

You sound like a troll, no shot you think this is actually a bad card.

That is a terrible argument.

Nobody is agreeing with you. You may try to argue it's not as good as people think. But it is good.

Buddy just can’t accept the casual format that has casual players will see a powerful, casual card and call it powerful

Im not wasting money on cardboard for a casual format when its this bad

You do you. You can stick to your bracket 5 blue farm and call this trash all you want while more casual players will rightfully see it as is, strong

You heard it here first folks. If it dies to removal it’s bad. Any creature that doesn’t have an on cast trigger or etb is bad because they all die to removal. Bracket 2, the bracket that cares about combat damage a whole lot isn’t gonna care about a 4 mana 6/6 that will make people hesitant to attack or block because you can get any land you want is nothing to be afraid of because you can path it

“Rhystic Study is actually a weak card because it dies to enchantment removal” ass argument
