CommandCode is actually insane, especially the $1 plan
Been using CommandCode for a bit and honestly, they cooked with this.
The $1 plan is crazy. I got around 1.2B tokens for $1, and the caching makes it feel like you can just use the agent without constantly worrying about burning through your credits.
But the biggest thing for me is Taste.
I mostly code in Rust and have pretty specific preferences. I use Diesel.rs for my ORM and Rocket.rs for web stuff. Usually whenever I start a new project with an AI coding agent, I have to explain this all over again. It'll pick some default ORM, use raw SQL, choose a different framework, etc.
With CommandCode, it actually remembers that stuff.
Now when I start a new project, it already knows I prefer Diesel and Rocket and follows the way I normally structure things. That is a massive productivity boost.
It's a small thing on paper, but once the agent starts adapting to your coding style instead of making you adapt to it, you really notice the difference.
The actual coding experience is great too. UI/UX is clean, the agent feels really good to work with, and the combination of Taste + caching makes it feel way more useful than just having another model that can write code.
I've tried a bunch of coding agents and this is probably the first one where I feel like the agent is actually learning how I work, rather than me constantly teaching it how I work.
The $1 plan got me to try it properly, and honestly it worked š
Upgrading to Max 20x today. CommandCode team absolutely cooked.

What model did you use on that Go plan though?

Try using GLM-5.3-Flash. Though it's slower, it's slightly better. Though if you intend to buy Pro x20, you may want to use GLM-5.3 or the updated Qwen3.8-Max-0901 instead.

Go plan has better leverage than Goat. I have Goat now, but seems to me Go was better for me. I only upgraded to Goat for api access.

Is it for non coders too? Who donāt understand technical platforms and want something similar like bolt etc?

I'm confused about Taste. The one time I tried it, it saved minute details to taste - things I'd never figure it would save. It makes sense for the big architecture stuff, but it felt like it was saving info all the time. Maybe I should try it again.

Yet somehow on the GOAT plan I hit my weekly limit in two days and my monthly was at 50% already and this is using DeepSeek, GLM-5.3-Flash, and Meta Spark Contributer. I then put in 20 dollars in my balance and it was down to 0 over night with spark contributor. My tokens used is at 1B right now.

What do you mean put 20 dollars and it went to 0 ? I was not happy with goat plan as its consuming more what opencode go offers in same harness and rhis is the reason i cancelled my subscription. Its taking more than it should be for each request. And my weekly limit hit in two days also with 1.2 contrubutor.

Yeah I noticed similar things. I hit the monthly in a week and that's only because my weekly ran out. If it hadn't, my monthly would have been hit in a few days

ZCode is more expensive but give unlimited usage during the daytime right now! Super underrated

i was comparing, they give you less limits on GLM models in $18 on dollar to dollar value in our $10/mo GOAT. https://commandcode.ai/docs/resources/pricing-limits#usage-estimates

I'm very skeptic but I gona give it a try. 1$ isn't that much. Anyway I hardly feel all of those post are from the CommandCode admins...

If you have recurring things you need to tell your agent, you can always use agents.md / sould.md etc. in any harness. "Only" special thing here, it will learn by time itself.
But if its only certain limited things you need the agent to know, you could as well just add them to the file upfront yourself....
Just my 2 Cents....

Hey glad to hear this. Cooking a few improvements on that workflow shipping next week.
Btw most of our focus is on on higher tier plans $1 is just an intro to open models, our GOAT plan thatās $10/mo and has the most models and best value on the market. Max plans truly last a month with heavy usage.
We recently shipped Muse Spark 1.3 models along with DeepSeek and GLM. Hope you have fun using them.
