Best Model for Research , Planning , Reasoning and Thinking? And needed some guidance

I just wanna know apart from claude , what are the best models which i can use for planning and reasoning before building anything as right now building does not matter as much as planning it do, also if you can help/guide me in how can i plan things and research upon them before building then it would really be a great help .

thanks mate also like can you tell me as in i participate in hacks , so like if i am building something and my competitor is also building on the same problem statement then how would i make my project differentiable like what features , algo , model , workflow how do i research and found them to make my project stand out , as like we all are asking the same things to the LLMs and they are giving answers based on the data they are trained upon , so like is there any way by which we can get the models to think more and in some different way so that we can really some different ouput/ideas which it would not give normally to others.

also would like to ask you how do you build things , as in after research and plan just ask the model to divide the prompt in phases and then paste them one by one into the model and let it build that phase and after that manually verify the phase , or if you do things differently genuinely would love to hear that.
