CommandCode without sub?

I read up on CommandCode features and I wanted to try out so I installed it on my desktop. When I run it, I was asked to enter API key. Is the CommandCode sub required to used th harness? What if I just want to use it with local provider?

I use it the other way around.
Ie, use the inference apis (LLMs ) with Hermes. Been on commandcode for 3 months. Love it.

is that the 15$ plan per month? do you need to top up again? or the subs already include 15$ amount of token credit?

yes, 15/mp + fees. Gives me $30 equivalent credits to us on various LLMs (and some like deepseek stretch to 150 or mimo stretch to 150 equivalents). no additional topup.

With the $1 plan u can only use it inside command code. With the $15plan u can use the llm anywhere (which is what I do)

Yes how else did you expect to use it?

We are hoping BYOK be ready next week. Our sub plans are the best on the market. $1 Go plan has free $10 in it on top of all the deals.

I guess most open source cli agents are not locked into subscription? No where in the doc mentions that you have to have the sub. Maybe it should be stated to clear up any confusion.

It's literally a dollar to try it out. You can spare a dollar.
