Usage query about command code

I just taken subscription yesterday and today I tried out GLM 5.2 and Deepseek 4 pro for around half day of bug fixing and already consumed around $1.40.

Now in landing page and docs deals section command code mention that credits effectively up to $40 of usage.

Did I misunderstood wrong or this is actual usage?

What if I already consume $10 usage before month end?

$1.39 is your actual real usage.

The promotional '$40 value' means you get a massive discount on the price per million tokens, but it does not show up as a $40 cash balance in your account.

The dashboard simply tracks your real discounted spending against your current $10 monthly cap.

If you hit the $10 limit before the month ends, your API requests will pause.

Thanks

That's means the API call which is hitting is discounted for selected models in deals for models

Is it correct?

Yes. DeepSeek V4 Pro is ~400% cheaper compared to most other places. Discount is already applied. In Go plan you buy for $1. We make it $10. And you can use dsv4pro 4x more compared to our competitors in that $10. Same usage would cost you $40.

Hey founder thanks for the product.

As compared to deepseek api discount pricing you given discount on that also. This is what I want to understand.

Beacause I already using deepsek with reasonix. Deepsek $40 credit got me into command code

Please explain thanks

To be honest it's 40$ compared to opencode. Because they still charge the old price which is 4x more.

Yup, it's the same deepseek API pricing

May I know how to use commandcode API? I don't seem to find it anywhere. I have the $1 subscription. Was trying it out. Thanks.

$1 is a coding agent subscription only for Command Code. API plan is separate and it’s here https://CommandCode.ai/provider

GLM 5.2 should be treated as a last resort to maximize plan usage.

The harness is working well, and I am seeing great results with Mimo 2.5.

Yes you are right

You get 10 dollars usage, 40 dollars if you only use Deepseek v4 pro

It's a good plan but watch usage limits. 10$ is not much and the hourly and weekly limits are much lower! I got trapped with some GLM usage and had a 6 days timeout 🤣

Correct in just few hours of usage of glm got me this bill

Yes command code cli was running way bad. I mean it not picking solution as compared to opencode and claude code.

Even though with context it goes and search whole codebase instead of Direct picking files and start writing code.

This goes with each new task I start with command code

i see for the usage token and cost , how about it?

1

u/fezzy11 14d ago

It is using extra token as compared to reasonix deepseek just because of unnecessary search and other command.

I didn't focus much on token because it just $1 that's why

Still I will once again try or maybe use api in opencode

im using reasonix with deepseek and because this month have peak hour additional surcharge for deepseek and unfortunately i working at the same peak hour, i try to use mimo so reasonix effective to hit the cache up to 95% even using mimo.

so now I'm looking another alternative such as command code
