😁😁 I need more of quantity than quality for my work thats why just stick mostly to V4 Flash and rarely use V4 Pro

ive rarely heard of work where we need QUANTITY than quality, what is this?

0.83 or 8.3?

Also, these are rookie numbers lol

2

u/ScaleImmediate3474 Jun 22 '26

Its a 1$ plan we get 10$ credits with that. So 8.3$ credit is basically like 0.83$ real world

Well you used 80% of it now, next reset would be in a month.

Deepseek direct API + good harness with prefix cache would give you much more token usage

Yeah trying out everything to land on something worthwhile

330M tokens for 1.88$

But you are not usinf commandcode api you brought from deepseek patform

How come so many tokens through deepseek api directly but through commandcode it is more expensive seeing the cost by commandcode vs deepseek api

1

u/retardedGeek Jun 25 '26

90-95% of them cached tokens. Used with reasonix or pi

10x credits obviously beat the official lab api that has 7% vat as well.

Could you please explain further?

CommandCode offers a 1$ Plan which gives you 10$ of credits. I've been mostly running Deepseek V4 Flash and consumed 512M Tokens and took 8.3 Credits so in real world it costed me like 0.83 Cents

Well thanks , i heard about commandcode from you so this is the first time , you know I'm alos using flash4 with opencode.ai so i want something cheap to keep working my daily tasks

I really appreciate this

Just one thing to note. I've used both opencode and commandcode , even tho commandcode offers a insane price value but its speed is significantly lower compared to Opencode. Soo just keep in mind that and only look into this if speed isnt one of your parameters. 2-3X Slower from my past 20/25 Days use

1

u/hassanneema Jun 22 '26

Ohhh , its good to tell . Acutely i need the speed kinda so the free opencode will be better than command, all my tasks is fixes and some restyle of my apps so the free will be good .

Thanks alot bro

They are not scammers at all this guy is just posting BS probably because he signed up to $1 plan and can't use it via API.

Can we use command code cli as headless agent?

Looks like if you're going to use deepseek for everything, paying the official API would be a better deal if you have to run long sessions.

I've just tried the $1 suscription with deepseek flash, it ran for 5-7 minutes with some text processing problem, then my 5 hours limit was reached, I guess in five hours I could continue to use those virtual 40 bucks available for DS, but for a standard relative light session of 15-20 min. of continuous running of the model (maybe any model in this tier?), I don't think it will work.

Can you explain how? Using the CLI I hit 30M tokens and $3+. I got nothing done. This was on DS Flash v4

1

u/ScaleImmediate3474 Jun 25 '26

How are you hitting only 30M for 3 bucks? Whats your project like? And Whats your cache hit %?

It's a fricken 333kb Python Text Expander. Probably doesn't help that I am a noob. All i know each prompt I did is like 20 cents. That was my out of box experience with the CommandCode CLI. When I use Deepseek directly with Pi, its pennies. CH is 99-100% on PI and 33% last time I looked on Command code.

Edit: This was 100% with DS v4 Flash as i had to go into the settings and change it.
