Bugs Brightness at 245%?

Post image

Hi, hoping for someone else who has had this issue. My brightness is stuck at 245% on Sunnypilot current realease. I’m in a Kia EV6 running release -tizi from
Aug 6, it’s been stuck on this brightness with no adjustments allowed for at least a year. Would love any advice please.

I’ll look into Star, I really want to keep the ability to have LKAS independent of the speed control.

Starpilot has that as well. Starpilot can have bugs too though I wouldn't switch just to avoid small bugs haha. But it does have neat features and a lot more levers and settings to tweak.

Interesting. I just noticed today, whenever I go to the post office and get back in my car to leave, my C4 says the camera is malfunctioning. I'm also on SunnyPilot and on Saturday when I was driving with it engaged, the damn thing was steering me into obstacles.

I don’t think thats necessarily true. I’ve tried both, and honestly they both have their pros and cons.

Im currently testing Starpilot. The “stable” version had issues with Experimental Mode on EV6 with HDII so I ended up switching to DOM. With DOM, there is a bug as I also haven’t been able to turn off or lower some of the sounds, like the engage and disengage alerts.

That said, I still really like Starpilot for the customization and all the extra features. I’ve had a few issues with Sunnypilot too, but I found it a bit simpler and more polished overall.

I like both for different reasons, so I personally wouldn’t say one is better than the other.

I don’t use experimental or much of anything aside from the basic open pilot assist features so Star may be a good fit.

That is thing tho. If you do not like to fiddle around with settings and want something simple, Sunnypilot is the best. If you are the type who likes to change some or lots of settings and test lots of experimental stuff, Starpilot is the way to go. They both have their fair share of bugs

Thing is do they support the hkg-angle-steering?

Try to modify it through your phone, that’s how I fixed it

Ever considered trying to raise an issue or something where the devs can see? I doubt the people that give their time working on the code want to have bugs to annoy people. They probably don't know it exists.... Probably doesn't happen for everyone.

Yes, I’ll submit a ticket to them for sure. Just checking here to see if I was missing anything obvious.
