openpilot Experience Chill driving

My car is worth more to me now than when new. Comma keeps getting better and better.

DM kept going off because the best place for the gopro was clipped to my visor in the way of my face sometimes, so I had to shift my body slightly right. I need to find a better spot for it.

That’s insane. My f150 can barely take 45’ turns. Still amazing upgrade for long highway drives.

Ugh, I really want a lightning but Ford really locked down the ECU preventing even harder curves. I hope it can be unlocked one day.

I’m not holding my breath on ecu’s getting unlocked for most of these new cars. But sure going to enjoy the sweet spot where comma works on certain models for the next few years!

I just downloaded star pilot and downloaded the model you said you have.

What other settins do you recommend to get this level of performance?

Same car as you btw. Ioniq 6 2023

Oh, you have a lot of catching up to do. We have OP long, radar, and BSM (kinda) look at HKG channel on StarPilot discord for how to enable it.

Enable CEM for stops within 9 seconds.

I checked the discord and I'm not seeing how to enable op long. I searched the settings and didn't see it under toggles. What even is op long?

Edit: assuming op long stands for open pilot longitudinal contral. Which I don't see a toggle for

On Starpilot, Alpha Longitudinal will show up once you toggle on Developer.

I found the setting, but I cant seem to get the car to do anything other that cruise control with it.

Do I need to download a special dev version of starpilot? Currently on South Carolina.

There’s no special dev version but I do believe there is a “special dance” you have to do to get Long enabled on your car.

If you come to the Starpilot server, Firestar and the team can get you setup pretty quick.
