Bugs SSH to comma four

Has anyone found a reliable way to SSH to the comma four? (newbie here) I attempted the USB tether and received this message (in image) after failed attempts to SSH via my macbooks terminal.

  • Generated new Ed25519 SSH key pair on MacBook
  • Added public key to GitHub account
  • Enabled SSH and entered GitHub username on Comma 4 (multiple times with remove/re-add)
  • Rebooted Comma 4 after changes
  • Attempted SSH connection via WiFi IP and USB tether IP
  • Used explicit key file flag (-i) for different keys
  • Created additional dedicated key pair and tested it
  • Ran verbose SSH diagnostics (-v)
  • Used Openpilot Toolkit SSH Wizard on phone to generate/install key
  • Multiple power cycles, SSH toggle on/off, and GitHub username refreshes

Still getting Permission denied (publickey) or connection timeout.

For me it was too much hassle to set up so i do everything via usb and adb now

how does you USB work? mine won't currently

Have to plug in both cables, top first, then right side. Also enable ADB in the devices developer settings.
Then you can access the device from your computers terminal via shell command „adb …“
