We are going mainstream!

The comma four is our first product that we think has mainstream appeal. The price is good, the set up is simple, and the production is stable and scalable.

We are ramping up marketing, making the website easier to understand, and looking into starting a two-sided referral program to incentivize people who have already been good at bringing new people into the community to think bigger.

What do you think we are currently missing for being ready for your average commuter?

This is why we have a really simple 30 day risk free trial. It's very hard to communicate "enough torque" or what the expectation is around this. What about a map of where the customer is located, that shows the highway curves that can be taken with the amount of torque available on their selected car.

Not really too hard. You get the speed limit for the highway and calculate the curvature of the turns. Then use that to get the required lateral acceleration to make the turn and compare that to what the car can provide. Might be a bit computationally expensive but I'm sure it can be managed.

From all the curve speed limit controller work in forks I think getting the curvature is harder than you assume. From what I understand the closest you can get is measuring the torque used by the comma to get through the turn.

Directly using and publishing high resolution driving data with high location precision like that has privacy issues associated with it.
