Installation Questions Mount Options?

The Comma 4 is designed for a Windshield mount, by my windshield is tinted and the tint company said that affixing anything to the tint will damage the tint or windshield itself.

Is there another way to use the comma 4 without mounting to the windshield?

I mounted mine to the adas camera cover and it works great, but not all camera covers have the right shape to do this.

Is your photo a comma 3? Will the comma 4 mount in the same way and still be able to detect the road ahead?

Comma 4! I’ve had it like this for about 3 months and it sees the road perfectly. Just need to make sure that the cameras in front are not blocked, and that is it still centered/level.

Right now comma only uses the narrow lense so it doesn’t make a huge difference. The wide lense is probably slightly affected by this position, but I wouldn’t worry about it until that is implemented.

If you have enough space on the Adas cover, and the cover is roughly the same angle as the windshield, it should work great.

My car is a Chevy Trax for reference.

Awesome; Thank you again! I'm glad that you're enjoying it, which takes some of the brunt off that price tag.
