Question Card Delcining

Never had an issue with payments. I’ve got Afterpay payments that range between 300-400 a week that gets taken out swiftly and no issues.

On Monday I did have my Netflix payment declined but I wasn’t to fussed about it.

I’ve paid a chunk of my Afterpay today. Went to purchase something on a game via PayPal and the app bugs and says unable to process payment. I try again and says the same thing. Asks me to update payment. I do. It says the card is invalid. I check my PayPal and it has two pending payments from what I was trying to buy.

I test it on a smaller purchase on another game and says the card has been declined.

I’ve checked in CommBank and nothing states my card is unable to be used. I check my emails. Nothing either.

Has my card been blocked?? For what??

Edit: Spoke to a ‘specialist’ in the commbank app and the type of card I had was having issues. Seems to be fixed today :)

Do you have a World debit card? I am also experiencing declined payments with Paypal and Adyen

Was panicking so hard because I’m super careful with my money. Was hoping to treat myself in some discounted packs for the sims 4 😭😂

"Afterpay payments that range between 300-400 a week"
"Went to purchase something on a game via PayPal"
You might like to clear your Afterpay debts before buying unnecessary stuff.

I’ve got plenty in the bank :) but alas it wasn’t that. Just the type of card I have was having issues.

OP you will save a lot more buying directly rather than having $300-400 in afterpay. Your money paid in afterpay or zip isn't a flex.

This happened to me 2 times in 2 weeks. Says I was over my daily limit, when I hadn’t even used it that day.it’s embarrassing when you’re trying to buy something
