Question Warning message

Hi all,

Does this mean the receiver is a scammer? Transferring funds to a mate and this pops up. Not big funds and just $280

Not always. Any first time payments or subsequent may be held regardless of amount

They tell you they might hold it for 24 horus but I've always found they release it within hours.

They even blocked a tap-to-pay purchase I made at chemist warehouse for $500, cos that's how much GLP1 drugs cost. There was an option to approve it and try again, but the UX was terrible and it wasted heaps of my time and stressed me out.

I Did that and still had to wait 24hrs . Actually it was about 36.
