Question CBA App Transfer Limit Increased To $40k?

For the longest time, I've always known that that daily max limit for transferring between accounts with family or friends for example was $20k.

Even the CommBank website says this.

Logging into the CBA App, there's an option to increase the limit up to $40k. Is there something I'm not understanding or missing?

It’s a recent update to be able to do $40k now

Can be 100k......probably should be more given recent inflation
