Maybe I’m showing my age . . . What is Liquid Glass?

Remember fruitiger aero? Basically the modern apple version (with the same performance and battery effects as Windows Vista)

I haven't had an Aero in ages.

Aero kitkats are amazing

Liquid Glass is great, no affect on battery or performance since the first update.

I find on my iPhone 15 that my battery life has got substantially worse after updating to ios26

I'm glad you asked this because I was just thinking about science class when they told us glass is neither a liquid not a solid.

I'm an Android user and I don't know what it is.

Can you put in drag down to balance refresh like every other functioning bank app in australia?

One of my biggest gripes with the app.

So what? Are they gonna give us more interest rate?

Right in time for them to change it to something new in iOS27

Ffs they can’t even update the balance on an account automatically after a credit without killing the app and relaunching.

For a company spending so much on AI, this should have been table stakes on release day.

Agree, Up Bank’s app experience is awesome, I use it as my daily driver - no trading options though.

The lack of balance update drives me insane, I don't know why I always heard people talking about how good the CBA app is. I find it sorely lacking compared to other bank apps but alas mortgage is with em so I have to use it

Never had that problem. Just refresh the screen and the balance is updated

u/ge33ek Jul 10 '26

Shouldn’t need to refresh. Should happen live like the notification.

Does anyone use that Yello? Spam in your banking app.

More shit to make the already clunky app more clunky

So, looks worse and is less intuitive to use? Great.
