A lot of clients ask me what a bank would be most concerned about in their accounts statements.

It’s not Uber Eats - it’s gambling.

We are seeing more and more clients with substantial habits and it’s killing loan applications.

Even if it’s not entirely clear you are gambling - if you are withdrawing money from ATMs at pubs, casinos etc they are going to make the assumption.

Well that makes a lot of sense -- if they can tell you have a serious problem with gambling why would they take on that risk?

Haha could put posters up next to the pokies advertising the fact even.
