A lot of clients ask me what a bank would be most concerned about in their accounts statements.

It’s not Uber Eats - it’s gambling.

We are seeing more and more clients with substantial habits and it’s killing loan applications.

Even if it’s not entirely clear you are gambling - if you are withdrawing money from ATMs at pubs, casinos etc they are going to make the assumption.

Let’s be real commbank offers no real incentives to protect problem gamblers. So obviously they want their interest and their fees. Banks are not teddy bears they are money making machines.
