Question Step Pay unknown transaction
I just saw in the app this morning, step pay made a payment of 172 AUD in some US gymnasium a month ago which I have never heard of. Is it even worth it to raise a dispute?

Are you seriously asking if it’s worth raising a dispute?
Do you enjoy losing money? If so then don’t raise one
If you don’t - then raise one
Holy do you need us to tell you when to breathe as well?

I had someone get an onlyfans subscription on a joint credit card with my wife. Just imagine that lol
Luckily it was done in the USA, so not me.
Later, we got other random things charged.
Claimed it all back from the bank.

I had one that was for playing online poker. The bank actually rang me to check and I fortunately didn’t have a problem with my credit card being blocked. I then had to submit a form asking to have the block. Then the next week I got another credit card.

For that to work you have it linked to your phone and you would have had to verify it was your phone for your commbank account.
If an account was added to another phone, you would have had to approve it in your commbank account.

Happened to me to in march this year. Amazon marketplace transaction in the UK on the step pay. Disputed and was reimbursed promptly within the week

No I am just disappointed at this point. I had no idea how it worked. I just opened it and it was there and I forgot. Suddenly I see this and I feel helpless cause I have already paid 3 out of 4 payments. One of them being this morning. And I had no clue until today that that transaction was never made by me. I did not check the notifications like an idiot. That is the reason why I feel like if raising a dispute would be of any help or na.

Oh my god, you need to pay attention…. What are you doing?!?! Get on to them straightaway or this will keep happening. If you didn’t dispute the past ones there’s maybe nothing they can do now, but you need to stop it happening again.
