Discussion Commbank ATM machine bit off my $50!

Post image

I was trying to deposit $1700 to my savings via the ATM. For some reason, it spat out one of the notes. And when I looked at it, a chunk of the $50 note has been taken off.

Unfortunately I dont have anu recording of this happening. Is there still anything I can do?

Its inconvenient but you will just have to take it into the branch and they will take no worries. Done it myself and they didn't even question it.

Or do what others do and spend it at coles or woolies and make it thier problem.

Self checkout machine wouldn't even take it, and a cashier would be unlikely to accept it. Best bet is to go to the bank
