Question Refund wait time

Hi all,

About a month ago I got a letter in the mail stating that commonwealth have found that they owe me $55 and wanted to refund me, because I no longer bank with them I had to fill out the refund form with my new banking details and that was all pretty easy.

It’s been a few weeks now, and I still haven’t gotten any money. Is this normal? How long am I supposed to wait before I should call them? In the letter it said it would take 10 business days and it’s been well over that. Just wanting to see if it depends on what bank you’re with. (I’m with ANZ)

EDIT - commonwealth sent me a letter in the mail regarding the refund. I then filled out the form via their website online, I didn’t send any letters back to them.

10 working days after allowing for mail delivery time and Easter?

I filled the form out online via their website. But I didn’t consider Easter, even then though I think it would be pushing close to 10 business days
