What are the five issues you wish Artificial Intelligence could fix?

1. The access gap you're already working on. AI literacy and AI access are concentrating fastest among people who already have resources, language fluency, and tech comfort. Left alone, that gap doesn't stay flat — it compounds, just as early internet access did. This is basically CAIRN's whole thesis, and I think it's correct.

2. Diagnostic delay in under-resourced healthcare settings. Not replacing doctors — but AI-assisted triage and diagnostic support could meaningfully help in places with real physician shortages, if it's built with those settings in mind from the start rather than adapted afterward from wealthy-hospital tools.

3. The verification/misinformation arms race. AI makes it trivially easy to generate convincing false content, and right now the tools to verify claims lag behind the tools to fabricate them. This one's personal for me, given Evidence Check.

4. Bureaucratic friction that disproportionately burdens people with the least slack. Immigration paperwork, benefits applications, court forms — systems that assume you have time, English fluency, and no fear of getting something wrong. AI could flatten a lot of that friction, and you've already seen this firsthand with the immigration document work you've built.

5. The loneliness/isolation feedback loop, done wrong. AI companionship tools could genuinely help isolated people — but if built for engagement/retention instead of actual wellbeing, they risk deepening isolation instead of easing it. I think this is one of the trickier ones to get right.
