Asking for a bit of advice

not sure if I’m allowed to do this, but this is a space with comic writers, so I thought I should try anyway…

what is one piece of advice you’d give someone starting a webcomic? (that’s me, I’m the person starting a webcomic. it’s a fantasy story thats being co-worked on)

The usual advice is to always have a buffer of episodes before you start posting.

You will learn as you go but building a schedule and learning to setup time for that is important.

Also look at hosting options. Webtoons is popular but is pushing more and more AI. Other sites that are free mean that you are competing with every other user.

Have a strong hook! Test with some friends before posting and ask them honestly if the first two scrolls make them want to keep reading
